Abstract:
A twister (1) for spinning fibres into yarn comprises a channel (10) for the passage of fibrous material and at least one air duct (12). The air duct (12) extends from the periphery of the twister (1) into the channel (10) for the passage of fibrous material and is composed of elements (1, 2). By this means, or by dividing the periphery of the passage channel (10) in the region of the opening of the air duct (161) into several elements (16), it is possible to manufacture air ducts whose cross-sectional area increases in the direction of the passage channel (10).
