Abstract:
PURPOSE:To surely prevent a battery from being exhausted by a dark current by supplying electric power to an engine oil level detecting device for various kinds of vehicle engines only when the device is actuated for making oil level detection and display. CONSTITUTION:This detecting device is provided with a switching means 10 which is connected between a power source 6 and oil level sensor 5 and switches the connection and disconnection between the power source 6 and sensor 5 to each other and control means 11A which controls the switch 10 to connect the sensor 5 to the power source 6 so that the sensor 5 can be conducted in an interlocking way with oil level detection triggering operations.
