Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent an uncertain part of an transmission line from being fetched into the network by providing a function adding its own station address and sending to both direction of the pre-stage and the next-stage when a transmitter disconnected from the network receives a fault recovery supervising signal, to each transmission station. CONSTITUTION:A terminal station in the turn back state calculates number of bypassed stages between its own inter-network terminal stations, and stations at the outside of the network (relay stations) or other inter-network terminal station from an address in a fault recovery supervising signal received from the outside of the network and a transmission station connection order table stored in advance and when above mentioned number exceeds the maximum allowable bypass stage number stored in advance, since it is possible to cause instability in the transmission line, it is regarded as the fault recovery and the ring network is not constituted again. Thus, unstable network constitution is surely prevented.
