Abstract:
PURPOSE:To constitute a magnetic shield part light weight at low costs even when the magnetic shield part installed in an apparatus to be magnetically shielded has a complicated shape or is large-sized. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic shield part 6 for a live-body diagnostic apparatus 1 is composed of the following: a main-part magnetic shield part 6A installed on the main-body side of the live-body diagnostic apparatus 1; and a door magnetic shield part 6B installed on the side of a door. At the main-body magnetic shield part 6A and the door magnetic shield part 6B, vacuum space parts 7A, 7B as heat-insulating means are arranged at their outermost part, and cooling parts 8A, 8B filled with liquid nitrogen N are installed at their inside. In addition, shield layers 9A, 9B filled densely with a bismuth-based high-temperature superconducting single-crystal pulverulent body SP are installed at their inside. By this constitution, the bismuth-based high-temperature superconducting single- crystal pulverulent body SP in the shield layers 9A, 9B is provided with a Meissner effect due to the cooling action of the cooling parts 8A, 8B and performs a magnetic shield action.
