Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a coating material containing a fine powder of FRP as an extender pigment, capable of recycling a waste FRP as a resource, useful for extension of the coating material and, in addition thereto, capable of forming a coating film excellent in tensile strength, Young's modulus, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective coating material contains a fine powder (preferably <=75mum) of FRP as an extender pigment. The above fine powder of FRP is produced, e.g. by pulverizing a waste FRP generated in the hand lay-up method, the SMC method, etc., using a mill.
