Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily and accurately add a mark for print positioning by providing a generating means which generates the pattern of the mark for print positioning. CONSTITUTION:A binarization circuit 88 performs the area gradation conversion, i.e. binarization of a color signal sent from a chrominance signal converting circuit 87 and sends the binarization signal to a positioning mark generator 97. The circuit 97 adds the pattern of the mark for print positioning to the binarization signal from the circuit 88 and sends the resulting signal to a thermal head temperature control part 93. Thus, the mark for positioning is added without area gradation conversion, so stuck a defect that the mark blurs in a dot shape owing to the area gradation conversion of the mark for positioning together with an image is eliminated, and the clear and proper mark is added.
