Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic shielding material having a sufficient magnetic shielding effect even if it is made small in thick and consequently suitable for speakers, CRTs, and so forth by a method wherein amorphous alloy magneti cally soft particles to which average thickness and a ratio of average outer diameter to average thickness are specified are combined with polyurethane with a specified filling ratio. CONSTITUTION:Amorphous alloy magnetically soft particles to be used are specified to be 0.01-1mum in average thickness and 10-10000 in a ratio of aver age outer diameter to average thickness. Next, 60-95% by weight of the particles is mixed with polyurethane as a binding agent to form a magnetic shielding material. Here, the amorphous alloy is composed of ferromagnetic transition metal such as Fe, Co, Ni, or the like and semimetal such as B, Si C, or the like, and three elements, Fe-B-Si, are preferably utilized. And, the polyurethane as the binding agent is a polyaddition product formed of multiva lent isocyanate and polyol compound, and 2,4-toluen diisocyanate is used as the multivalent isocyanate.
