A circuit breaker element 4, suitably for attachment to the conductor rail 1 of an electrically powered toy, has a roughened cammed surface 5 which in use lifts a sliding contact 7 off the conductor rail 1 on which it normally slides. In a preferred embodiment the element is provided with ribs 6 which extend transversely of the conductor rail and may be positioned anywhere along the groove 2 in the conductor rail.
