1506172 Recording apparatus SEISCOM DELTA Inc 11 Feb 1975 [11 Feb 1975] 5751/75 Heading G1J [Also in Division G2] A colour display of geophysical or technological data is formed by (a) using digital data to produce a positive image on a film transparency in which the image density at any point indicates the magnitude of a technological parameter and the density increases with the magnitude of the parameter (b) exposing a photo-sensitive polymer layer on a support to the transparency and (c) dusting the unhardened polymer with coloured toner. A multi-coloured display is built up by laminating further photo-sensitive polymer layers to the support, exposing and developing with different: colour toners. The images are dot images produced using a half tone screen, the angle between the support and screen being varied for each exposure to prevent the formation interference patterns.
