Abstract:
Compositions containing, and methods of combating fungi using, 1-diaryloxy-1-triazolyl-3,3-dimethyl-butan-2-ones and -butan-2-ols of the formula (I), in which X and Y each independently is halogen, nitro, alkyl, alkoxy, halogenoalkylthio, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino or N-alkyl-alkylsulfonylamino, Z is a direct bond, oxygen, sulfur, methylene, alkoxymethylene, sulfonyl or keto, A is -CO- or -CH(OH)-, Az is 1,2,4-triazolyl-(1), 1,2,4-triazolyl-(4) or 1,2,3-triazolyl-(1), and A AND B EACH INDEPENDENTLY IS 0, 1, 2 OR 3, OR SALTS THEREOF. Some of the compounds are new.
