Abstract:
Mounted on the ink-ribbon cartridge (1) for the ink ribbon (2) of the machine, for example a typewriter, is a projection (5) which, when the cartridge (1) has been inserted, presses onto an angle lever (15) and pivots the latter through a particular angle. The pivoting movement is transmitted via a pull wire (14) and a rocker arm (12) to a connecting link (13). The ratchet (10) lies in its rest position on the connecting link (13) and, when it is actuated, pivots the escapement wheel (20) for the ink-ribbon feed through a particular angle which depends on the position of the connecting link (13). The length of the transporting step of the ink ribbon (2) thus depends solely on the height of the projection (5).
