PURPOSE: To increase the developing speed and to enhance the sensitivity by adding specified couplers to 3 sensitive silver halide emulsion layers laminated on a support and a specified pyrazolidinone compound to one of the emulsion layers.

CONSTITUTION: A red-, green- and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers are laminated on a support. A diffusion resistant cyan coupler, a diffusion resistant magenta coupler and a diffusion resistant yellow coupler are added to the emulsion layers, and a substituted 1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidinone compound is added to at least one of the emulsion layers to manufacture a color photographic material. The material is color developed in the presence of a compound or a salt thereof represented by formulaI(where R1 is H or alkyl, each of R2, R3 and R4 is H, halogen, alkyl or the like, each of R5 and R6 is alkylene, R7 is alkyl or the like, and each of n and m is an integer of ≥1).
