PURPOSE: To house a landing and a gunwale ladder body supporting davit without their projection from the side of a vessel by rotatably fitting and supporting said landing davit via parallel link mechanisms to the vessel side, respectively, and allowing them to project to the vessel side at the time of their use, and to be folded and turned to the vessel body side at the time of housing.

CONSTITUTION: A upper part landing 2 of a vessel side gunwale ladder and a davit 3 for supporting a gunwale ladder body 4 are rotatably fitted and supported respectively via parallel link mechanisms A, B to a vessel side part. A specified pulley and wire rope are arranged to perform the housing and pulling- down jobs of the vessel side gunwale ladder. At the time of the use of the ladder, the gunwale ladder body 4 and the upper part landing 2 are projected and supported in the vessel side direction by means of parallel mechanisms A, B. When housing the landing 2 and the ladder body 4, they are housed without their projection to the vessel body side from the vessel side by setting the parallel link mechanisms A, B in vertical attitude.
