PURPOSE: To reduce the production of NOx and ash dust by a method wherein a reducing chamber having non-cooled heat conductive plane of heat-resistant material is placed between a precombustion chamber and a main combustion chamber so as to form a reducing chamber, and a secondary air inlet port is arranged at the circumferential wall of the rear flow part of the reducing chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Combustion gas 10 containing fuel gasified in the precombustion chamber 7 is cooled by a reducing of the nitrogen oxide and its heat radiation in the reducing chamber C formed by the non-cooled heat conductive plane 9 formed by a heat-resistant material from the reduced gas outlet port 7' with the rear circumferential wall of the precombustion chamber 7 being throttled. The secondary air or the mixture of secondary air and the inert gas supplied through the secondary air inlet port 6 arranged at the circumferential wall at the downstream of the reducing chamber C with a mixing mechanism i.e. a structure 11 having a mixing means, for example, an orifice arranged at the outlet port of the reducing chamber is promoted in its mixing and the combustion is completed in the main combustion chamber D. Thus, it is possible to perform the substantial reduction of nitrogen oxide and ash dusts.
