Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly by a method wherein a groove for leading a gate lead is provided at the end face at the outside of a conductor block at the face side forming the gate electrode of a semiconductor element. CONSTITUTION:A copper block 2 is contacted with the positive side of a semiconductor element 10 and a copper block 11 is contacted with the negative side. Furthermore, flange plate 3, 4 are covered on the outsides of the blocks 2, 11. The circumference sections of the flanges 3, 4 are fixed to an insulating cylinder 12 through a welding ring 5. A gate lead wire 7 is led out to a sealing metal tube 14 penetrating the cylinder 12 through the groove 13 of the block 11. In incorporating the semiconductor element, the element 10 will not float from an element fixing plate 6 by a gate spring 8. Therefore, correct assembly can be done.
