PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of a subscriber device without installing independently an input device, by dividing the dial information and the data information given from the same input means into in-sound band signals and out-of-sound band signals and then using either one or both of these signals.
CONSTITUTION: A telephone 1 is connected to a switchboard 3 via a subscriber circuit 2, and the telephone 1 is provided with a communication mode designating switch 11 and a control part 12 which is controlled by the switch 11. The dial information and the data information are fed to the part 12 from a double contact type push-button dial switch 10. These dial information and data information are divided to a push-button dial oscillator 7 and an out-of-sound band signal MODEM9 on the basis of the communication mode designating signal of the switch 11 and via the part 12. The MODEM9 modulates an FSK signal or PSK signal. At the same time, the output of the oscillator 7 is applied to an LPF5 via talking circuit 4. Then either one or both of the PB signal given from the circuit 4 and the out-of-sound band signal from the MODEM9 is/are transmitted to the circuit 2. In such way, the constitution of a subscriber device is simplified.
