PURPOSE: To load and unload a disk with a single drive source and therefore to simplify the structure together with reduction of the cost for a disk player by using a single piece of wire to drive a fixed block set to a lift cam, a disk supporter and a running block set to a pickup.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed flock 41 is attached to a shaft 21 of a rotary cam 22 which moves up and down a lifter 19 attached with a lower chuck body 26. While running blocks 42 and 43 are attached to a disk supporter 6 together with running block 44 and 45 attached to a pickup substrate 38, respectively. A drive wire 63 is hooked to those said blocks and driven by a forward/reverse drive motor 57. Both the disk 6 and the substrate 38 are moved by the blocks 42W45, and a turntable is moved up and down with revolutions of the block 41. In such a constitution, the disk 6 is loaded and unloaded by a single motor 57. This simplifies the structure and eliminates noises together with reduction of the cost for a disk player.
