Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of uniformity by making one layer of carcass cord between two layers forming the splice part of a carcass layer to be discontinuous at a specific part and making the rigidity of the splice part equal to each rigidity of other parts. CONSTITUTION:In a pneumatic tire, one layer of carcass layer 4 is set along each inside surface of a tread part 1 and the side-wall part 2 which extends on the both sides of the tread part 1. A bead part 3 is set along the circumferential direction at the lower edge part of the side-wall part 3, and a belt reinforcing layer 5 is interposed between the tread part 1 and the carcass layer 4. In this case, the carcass cord (a) in one layer 41u between two layers 41u and 41d which form the splice part 41 of the carcass layer 4 is made discontinuous between a pair of bead wires 31 at right and left which are positioned in the bead part 3. For example, a notched part 42 which separates into each carcass cord a1 and a2 is formed on the upper-layer side 41u, and each carcass cord a1 and a2 is made discontinuous.
