Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for detecting a substance to be detected within a sample, said method including: a step in which a substance to be detected within a sample, a material for recognizing the substance to be detected, or a conjugate of the substance to be detected and the material for recognizing the substance to be detected is concentrated locally by electrophoresis or by dielectrophoresis; a step in which, in some cases, the substance to be detected and the material for recognizing the substance are bonded within the sample; a step in which change in the fluorescence intensity of the conjugate of the substance to be detected and the material for recognizing the substance to be detected is measured; and a step in which the presence of the substance to be detected within the sample is confirmed by the measured fluorescence intensity. The material for recognizing the substance to be detected specifically recognizes the substance to be detected and bonds thereto and is labeled with a fluorescent substance that emits fluorescence at a specific wavelength.
