Abstract:
Provided is a highly reliable air conditioner that keeps an outdoor heat exchanger clean. A control unit (30) for an air conditioner (100) performs, as first control after processing to cause an outdoor heat exchanger (13) to function as an evaporator to freeze or condense the outdoor heat exchanger (13), control to increase the rotational speed of an outdoor fan (14) relative to that during the above processing while driving a compressor (11) or while bringing the compressor (11) into a stopped state, control to reduce the rotational speed of the compressor (11) relative to that during the above processing while driving the compressor (11), or control to increase the opening degree of an expansion valve (15) relative to that during the above processing while driving the compressor (11).
