Abstract:
A production planning device (100) comprises a simulation unit (106). The simulation unit (106) executes a discrete system simulation on the basis of: a fixed planning model, which is a model representing a task related to a fixed planning product that is a product and a fixed planning period that is a period during which the task related to the fixed planning product is to be executed; a semi-fixed planning model, which is a model representing a preparation period for executing the task related to the fixed planning product; and a flow planning model, which is a model representing a task related to a flow planning product that is a product, to calculate a candidate period, which is a period that does not overlap with the fixed planning period, as a candidate for a flow planning period that is a period during which the task represented by the flow planning model is to be performed and, when at least part of the candidate period overlaps with at least part of the preparation period, determines the candidate period to be the flow planning period if preparation to execute the task related to the fixed planning product has been completed at a start time of the fixed planning period.
