NEW MATERIAL: 1-(4-Aminophenyl)-2-piperidinopropanone derivatives and their salt adducts of formula I (R is H, CH3CO; A is H, Cl; Z is 1-4C alkyl).

EXAMPLE: 1-(4Amino-3,5dichlorphenyl)2-(3-methylpiperidino) propanone.

USE: Having vaso-dilating activity useful for cardiac vessel diseases such as infarction, especially administrated as the vasodilator of coronary arteries, or circulation disorder of brain or hands and feet used as the vasodilator of peripheral blood vessel.

PROCESS: A 3-alkylpiperidine of formula II is reacted with a 1-(4aminophenyl)2- halogenopropane compd. of formula III (Hal is halogen) to obtain the compd. of formula I.
