Abstract:
PURPOSE: To present a dual chamber pacemaker that minimize such risk that PVC is not detected, by making the setting of an appropriate blanking interval automatic without increasing the amount of unnecessary stimulation having reduced A-V interval. CONSTITUTION: To make the number of detected events appeared in a crosstalk interval (XT) to the minimum by crosstalk from the atrium of the heart, and concurrently, to optimize the blanking interval (B1), the detected number in the crosstalk interval (XT) during the cardiac activity period is calculated, and determine the length of the blanking interval(BI) connecting the detected number with the cardiac activity period.
