To provide a new 2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-2-carboxylic acid amide having decreased phytotoxicity and excellent effect and provide an agrochemical, especially a herbicide containing the derivative as an active component.
The objective dihydrobenzofuran-2-carboxylic acid amide derivative is expressed by general formula (I) (Z1 and Z2 are each independently H or a lower alkyl; X1 and X2 are each independently H, OH, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy, a halogen-substituted alkoxy, benzyloxy, a halogen, nitro, cyano, phenyl or a haloalkl; Y1 and Y2 are each independently H, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy or a halogen; Q1 and Q2 are each independently H or a lower alkyl; and X1, X2, Z1 and Z2 are not H at the same time). The agrochemical, especially herbicide contains the compound as an active component.
