Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved automatic transaction device etc. that is capable of performing transaction based on information stored in an IC storage medium, even when an IC card flag cannot be read from a magnetic stripe.SOLUTION: When it is determined that a first magnetic sensor 406 does not read an IC card flag, an automatic transaction device 10 determines whether a cash card for transaction has an IC card flag by using a storage medium other than a first magnetic stripe 2. When it is determined that the cash card for transaction has an IC chip, transaction is performed on the basis of information stored in the IC chip.
