PURPOSE: To facilitate the confirmation of the content of a registered telephone number and to ensure it by informing the content of a registered abbreviation dial number in voice.

CONSTITUTION: When a subscriber 8 makes a call, a subscriber line scanner 3 detects the call and informs it to a central controller 6 to connect the subscriber 8 and a numeral receiver 4. When a dial number from the subscriber 8 is received by the numeral receiver 4, it is informed to the central controller 6. The central controller 6 analyzes dial number and when it is discriminated to be a request of registration number guide of the abbreviation dial, the connection between the subscriber 8 and the numeral receiver 4 is disconnected and the subscriber 8 and the voice reply device 5 are connected. An abbreviation dial registration table is read from a storage device 7, the abbreviation telephone number is given to the voice reply device 5 and the abbreviation dial number content is guided to the subscriber 8 in a voice signal.
