PURPOSE: To make aberration correcting effect better by irradiating the monochromatic light of the wavelength longer than the interference light to the holographic zone plate having been recorded with interference fringes by said interference light and scanning the irradiated light.
CONSTITUTION: One coherent beam 16 is converted to the convergent spherical wave converging at a point 18 by a lens 17 and the other beam 18 is converted to the divergent spherical wave diverging from a point 21 by a lens 20. These interfere on a hologram recording surface 22 and form interference fringes which are then recorded on the hologram recording surface 22, for example, holographic dry plate. If this is used as a hologram scanner and is scanned with the monochromatic light of the wavelength longer than the manufacturing wavelength, the convergent distance of the scanning beam for angle of diffraction (scanning angle) becomes like a curve 23 and if scanned by the monochromatic light of the same wavelength as the manufacturing wavelength, it becomes like a curve 24. In this way, the effect of aberration correction may be bettered by scanning with the monochromatic light of the wavelength longer than the manufacturing wavelength.
