This abnormal operation detecting equipment of an electromagnetic solenoid is provided with a driving means 12 outputting a driving signal, driving signal detecting means 13, 14 which detect the driving signal outputted from the driving means 12 and output a signal corresponding to the driving signal, and a control means 15 which makes the driving means 12 output the driving signal capable of driving a movable member 20, and judges generation of abnormal operation of an electromagnetic solenoid 11, if a detecting signal outputted from the driving signal detecting means 13, 14 does not become lower than a previously decided specific value during a specific period in the period in which the driving signal capable of driving the movable member 20 is outputted. Since characteristic that the detecting signal temporarily decreases during a detecting period when the movable member 20 normally operates exists, this decrease of the detecting signal is used.
