PURPOSE: To provide the abnormality detecting and reporting device at remote point capable of remarkably reducing the communication cost compared with the one in the case of using private telephone lines.
CONSTITUTION: An abnormality detecting and reporting device A is constituted of an observation point device B which is placed at an observation point positioned at a remote point so as to monitor the change of the state which can be measured automatically at all times and consists of a measurement device 7, processor 8, and transmitter 9 so as to process one or more measured values with a procedure set in advance, and a monitoring center C placed at a monitoring center 2 and consisting of a receiver 10 and warning device 11. The observation point device B detects the presence or absence of abnormality based on the processing result and estimates the cause and degree, etc., of the abnormality. When the abnormality is detected, the measured value of the abnormal part, the detection result and the estimation result or their combination are reported to the monitoring center 2 by a general communication network.
