Title:
ABNORMALITY TRANSMITTING MECHANISM FOR DECENTRALIZED COMPUTER SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62226365
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To transmit abnormal state signals and command signals for abnormality handling between computers at high efficiency by constituting abnormality transmitting mechanism in a decentralized computer system using an annular transmission line. CONSTITUTION:An abnormality signal transmission line 12 forms an annular transmission line connecting a transmission synchronizing device 11 and respective transmitting device 10a, 10b,...10k. Accordingly, signals sent out from the transmission synchronizing device 11 come back to the transmission synchronizing device 11 through transmitting devices 10b,...10k, 10a. In case of sending out returned signals again to the transmitting device 10b, it must be executed after completion of sending of signals being sent out presently. Accordingly, to time properly, signals went out from the transmitting device 10a and came back to the transmission synchronizing device 11 through the transmission line 12 are stored temporarily in the transmission synchronizing device 11. By detecting specified bit patterns in transmitting devices 10a, 10b,...10k, frame synchronizing points are recognized and the position of time division slots can be known.
