PURPOSE: To sufficiently separate abrasive attaching to the surface of a medal due to static electricity, etc., from the medal by constituting the abrasive separating device so that a wiping member driven to rotate wipes out the surface of the medal, when the medal and the abrasive flow from the upstream to the down stream on a passage body.
CONSTITUTION: In an abrasive separating device 1 for separating a medal and abrasive, a passage body 21 and a wiping member 31 are provided. On its passage body 21, an abrasive passing hole 22 is provided, and a passage for the medal is formed thereon. Also, the wiping member 31 comes into contact with the upper face of the passage body 21 or approaches it and can be driven to rotate. As a result, the abrasive attaching to the surface of the medal due to static electricity, etc., can be separated enough from the medal.
