Title:
ABRASIVES FOR PINBALL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59201754
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a plating layer on a pinball from damage to maintain gloss and prevent the pinball from deposit of abrasives due to an electrostatic phenomenon, by using pellet-like polyethylene containing a specified weight % of calcium carbonate for the abrasives.

CONSTITUTION: Abrasives consist of polyethylene pellets containing 10W70, preferably 10W60wt% of carbonate. Since carystal of alkaline earth metal acid salt exposed to the surface layer of the pellet has a proper hardness, even persistent rust can be removed easily from the surface of pinball. Further, since this carbonate of chemically basic salt acts on stains, such as dirt from the hands, deposited to the surface of steel balls to promote the chemical decomposition, the stains can be effectively removed to maintain gloss. Also, by beforehand mixing antistatic material into the pellets can be prevented frictional electricity from charging and attachment and accumulation on insulating portions in a circulating system.
