Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve the troublesome in a program reservation method by a bar code.
SOLUTION: A display control means displays the program contents from the information fetched by an input means from the outside on a TV receiver with a table form as shown in figure 4, and the reservation is finished only by selecting the required program contents from the table form by operating a position specification means and a setting means. In such a manner, since the need tracing the bar code with a bar code reader is eliminated when the program is reserved, the troublesome that even when the bar code are traced repeatedly, the bar code isn't read is eliminated. Moreover, since the program contents are displayed with the table form, the program is set while comparing with the programs of front/rear, left/right. Thus, even when the programs of names similar to each other exist, a reservation miss hardly occur due to a mistake. Further, like a technique before the bar code reader, the need setting channels is eliminated, and the trouble inputting a start time is eliminated also. Thus, the operation is simplified remarkably.
