A sanitary napkin 1 which comprises a front face sheet 2 forming the inner face in the body side, a back face sheet 3 forming the outer face in the clothes side, a liquid-absorbing structure 4 formed between these front and back faces 2 and 3, and a cushion sheet 5 formed between the liquid-absorbing structure 4 and the front face sheet 2. The front face sheet 2 has multiple holes 6 that are formed for ensuring liquid-permeability. These holes 6 are formed all over the front face sheet 2 and penetrate the front face sheet 2 in the thickness direction. The front face sheet 2 has multiple protrusions 13 toward the cushion sheet 5 side that are formed by molding treatment. The protrusions 13, which are almost round in shape, are formed at almost constant intervals all over the front face sheet 2. The molding treatment for forming the peaks 13 is carried out at a temperature lower than the melting point of the front face sheet 2.
