Abstract:
To provide an absorbent article achieving efficient absorption by using an entire absorbent core, and capable of suppressing leakage of body fluid.SOLUTION: An absorbent article having a longitudinal direction, a width direction and a thickness direction orthogonal to each other, and including an absorber is such that: the absorber includes an absorbent core including an absorbent material, and a core wrap sheet configured of at least two wrap sheets including an upper layer core wrap sheet covering a skin-contact surface side of the absorbent core, and a lower layer core wrap sheet covering a skin non-contact surface side of the absorbent core; in both facing side end parts of the absorbent core in the width direction, the upper layer core wrap sheet is folded to a skin non-contact surface side; the folded part is connected to a skin non-contact surface side of the absorbent core; and the lower layer core wrap sheet is provided at a skin non-contact surface side than the upper layer core wrap sheet in the folded part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
