This absorptive article lincludes a liquid permeable front surface sheet 2, a liquid impermeable leakproof sheet and an absorptive body having a liquid holdable absorber and a pair of three-dimensional guards 6 having three-dimensional guide elastic members 64 in both right and left side marginal parts in the longitudinal direction of the absorptive body. The rear side part B existing on the rear side of a wearing person at the time of wearing of the absorptive body is provided with a rear side stretching part 9 formed by disposing and forming plural rear side elastic members 91 along the transverse direction of the throw-away diaper 1. The three- dimensional guide elastic members 64 are disposed along the free marginal ends 63 by opening plural prescribed spacings between the base ends and free marginal edges 63 of the three-dimensional guards 6 and at the free marginal edges 63. The respective three-dimensional guide elastic members 64 are formed by connecting the end edges 64B on their rear side part B side to the rear side stretching parts 9 and are adapted to cooperate with the stretching and shrinkage of the rear side elastic members 91.
