PURPOSE: To satisfactorily control car operation in responce to preference of a driver etc. and prevent the driver from stepping into an acceleration pedal unconsciously by providing adjusting means for adjusting stepping force into the acceleration pedal and control means for controlling said adjusting means.
CONSTITUTION: Opening of a throttle valve 4 is controlled by an acceleration pedal 6, whereby an output of an engine 2 is controlled. Adjusting means 12 for adjusting stepping force into the pedal 6 includes cylinder 13, a piston 15, and first and second penumatic chambers 16a, 16b. Detecting means 20, 21 for detecting a number of RPM and acceleration of a drive wheel 11 are connected to a detecting circuit 22 for detecting any slip of the wheel. The circuit 22 has therein an input/output device 23, a RAM24, and a CPU25. Accordingly, the valve 19 of the above adjusting means 12 is closed base on a slip detection signal from the CPU25 at the time of the slip of the drive wheel 11, whereby the piston 15 is made comparatively difficult in sliding to cause the pedal 6 to be heavy to be stepped into.
