PURPOSE: To improve the acceleratability at the time of re-acceleration through the getting rid of a useless slip control by completing the control action of a throttle opening according to a slip amount, when a brake operation has been detected by means of a detecting means.
CONSTITUTION: A traction controller 15 seeks a slip amount from a difference between the speeds of drive wheels WFR, WFL detected by carwheel speed sensors 11, 12, and the speeds of driven wheels WRR, WRL detected by carwheel speed sensors 13, 14, and calculates a target engine output which is in accordance with this slip amount, and reduces in control the output of an engine 16 by regulating a throttle opening. And when the stepping on of a brake pedal 17 is detected by means of a brake detecting means 18, the control action of the throttle opening, that is, the reduction control of the engine 16 output is completed. Thus, a useless slip control can be got rid of, and the improvement of acceleratability at the time of a re-acceleration operation can be realized.
