Abstract:
To provide a reaction force control device for an accelerator pedal capable of improving the operability of the accelerator pedal.SOLUTION: A reaction force control device for an accelerator pedal includes: an accelerator pedal 2; a reaction force applying mechanism 6 that produces reaction force relative to an operation given to the accelerator pedal 2; and a controller 8 that controls the reaction force applying mechanism 6. This reaction force control device controls drive force in accordance with the operation to the accelerator pedal 2, and controls the reaction force applying mechanism 6, thereby being able to adjust the reaction force. The controller 8 is configured to temporary increase a change rate of the reaction force beyond a predetermined change rate that is set beforehand when the accelerator pedal 2 is depressed and the drive force reaches the maximum drive force, and to notify a driver 3 of the drive force reaching the maximum drive force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
