Abstract:
To provide an accelerator pedal which can improve operational feeling.SOLUTION: An accelerator pedal comprises a tread. The tread comprises plural grooves which are so arranged as to be spaced apart from each other. The plural grooves are obliquely inclined from the right front to the left rear of a vehicle in the state where the accelerator pedal is assembled to the vehicle. When a line, which extends in a width direction of the tread and passes an apex P of a curve constituting the tread on the tread in a side view, is represented by a transverse line H1, a line, which bisects the tread in the width direction, is represented by a vertical line V, and an intersection point of the transverse line H1 and the vertical line V is represented by an intersection point O, a width of the groove, which is nearest to the intersection point O, of the plural grooves crossing the transverse line H1 is narrower compared to at least one of a width of the groove farthest to the left of the intersection point O and a width of the groove farthest to the right of the intersection point O.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
