Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator fuel injection device for a diesel engine capable of exerting a pressure sinking performance sufficiently, while an increase of the thermal load given to an injector driving circuit is suppressed, when the internal pressure of a common rail of the injection device is subjected to a decompression control.
SOLUTION: When the decompression conditions for lowering the fuel pressure in a common rail 3 are established, a solenoid valve 1a of an injector 1 is subjected to an idle strike, so that the valve opening is made in a time width shorter than a delay time tm at which a nozzle needle 37 will open, and thereby the internal pressure of the common rail is reduced, wherein the temp. of an injector drive circuit in an ECU 7 is predicted on the basis of the cooling water temp. sensed by a sensor 71, and on the basis of the obtained temp., the cyclic period of the idle stroke drive is decided, so that the thermal load given to the injector drive circuit does not exceed the limitation.
