Abstract:

To provide an acid pasting treatment method by which the crystal form and particle diameter of a pigment can precisely and effectively be controlled to stably impart sufficient characteristics as a charge-producing material to the pigment, to provide a charge-producing material obtained by the acid pasting treatment method, and to provide an electrophotographic sensitizer using the charge-producing material.

The acid pasting treatment method is characterized by sending the first liquid containing an alkaline solution, the second liquid containing a pigment and an acid for dissolving the pigment, and the third liquid capable of depositing the pigment between the first liquid and the second liquid to produce the three layered flow, thereby recrystallizing the pigment.
