When receiving a resuming command ACIR from a control section 251, a resume control section 263 makes an automatic sound field correction section 253 execute a loudspeaker configuration confirmation process and a positional relation confirmation process via an execution control section 265. When receiving a response RSP indicating that these confirmation processes have been completed, the resume control section 263 determines whether or not these confirmation results are coincident with loudspeaker confirmation information and positional relation confirmation information in a last-time buffer within a storage section 261. When the result of the determination is positive, the resume control section 263 specifies an individual stage process that has been already completed in the last automatic sound field correction and can be eliminated. The resume control section 263 then makes the automatic sound field correction section 253 execute individual stage processes other than the individual stage process that can be eliminated, in accordance with a predetermined order via the execution control section 265.
