Abstract:
To provide an acoustic device having an improved frequency-sound pressure characteristic even when the acoustic device comprises a piezoelectric device as a vibration source.SOLUTION: An acoustic device AD1 comprises a housing 1 and a piezoelectric device 10, the housing 1 comprises an opening 5 communicating a space SP1 with an outer space and a wall portion forming a space SP1 inside the acoustic device AD1, wherein the wall portion comprises: an upper wall 3a and a bottom wall 3b which are opposite each other; a pair of side walls 3c and 3d which are opposite each other; a pair of side walls 3e and 3f which are opposite each other in a third direction crossing a first direction D1 and a second direction D2; and a piezoelectric device 10 which is arranged in the wall portion and vibrates the wall portion. An effective frequency range by the vibration of the piezoelectric device 10 and of the wall portion is higher than a Helmholtz resonance frequency of a resonator in which the space SP constitutes a resonance space, and the effective frequency range includes a frequency range where an acoustic pressure is higher than that in the Helmholtz resonance frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
