Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease the amt. of treating water being brought into contact with an active carbon when ozone is not injected and to prolong the life of the active carbon.
CONSTITUTION: In ozonation, when remaining ozone and oxidant content in a treating water A are treated with an active carbon 8, flow paths are switched in an active carbon tank 1 depending to the time whether ozone is injected or not injected and when it is not injected, the amt. of drainage water being brought into contact with the active carbon 8 is decreased to prevent the life of the active carbon 8 from decreasing unnecessarily.
