Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive gas adsorbing active carbon volume reduction processing device capable of efficiently reducing the volume of active carbon adsorbing a radioactive gas.SOLUTION: A radioactive gas adsorbing active carbon volume reduction processing device includes: a combustion processing device body 11 which burns active carbon to adsorb and remove radioactive iodine; a processing gas feed pipe 21 which feeds a processing gas 3 of predetermined oxygen concentration to the combustion processing device body 11; a combustion exhaust gas discharge pipe 31 which is provided for the combustion processing device body 11 and discharges a combustion waste gas 4 produced by burning the active carbon with the processing gas 3; and a shooter 13 which is provided for the combustion processing device body 11 and discharges combustion ashes of the active carbon produced by burning the active carbon with the processing gas 3.
