PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve transmission wave propagation control with only one metamaterial layer.SOLUTION: A split ring resonator 3 includes: a ring portion 4 made of metal and having an annular shape in plan view; a first dividing portion 5 which is a gap provided in the ring portion 4; and a field effect transistor 6 in which a source S is connected to one end of the ring portion 4 divided by the first dividing portion 5 and a drain D is connected to the other end of the ring portion 4 opposed to the one end with the first dividing portion 5 interposed therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
