Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active filter that can suppress secondary voltage pulsation of a DC capacitor, whereby the capacitance of the DC capacitor can be reduced and the DC capacitor can be miniaturized.SOLUTION: The active filter which is connected to a power supply 11 for supplying power to a load 12, detects load current isupplied to the load 12, and supplies the power supply 11 side with compensation current ifor offsetting harmonic current icontained in the load current i, has a DC capacitor Cas a current source for the compensation current i, and a controller 4 by which fundamental wave currentiof reverse phase for suppressing secondary voltage pulsation occurring in the DC capacitor Cdue to tertiary harmonic wave current compensation is made to flow in a power supply system.
