Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obviate necessity of an operation for setting an address by receiving an address set signal by indoor receiving means of an outdoor unit in which a communication monitor does not outputs a competition defeat signal.
CONSTITUTION: Indoor transmitting means of an indoor unit, in which communication monitors 31, 32, 33 output competition defeat signals from a comparison result of priority order of address set request signals, interrupts the transmission of an address set request signal, and then resumes the transmission of the request signal. Indoor transmitting means of an indoor unit, in which the monitors do not output the defeat signals, receives an address set signal from outdoor transmitting means 15 for the request signal, and recognizes an address. Thus, the addresses of indoor units 11-13 can be set only by connecting an outdoor unit 14 to the respective indoor units via a signal transmission line, and necessity of an operation for setting the address is eliminated.
