PURPOSE: To provide an adhesive for ferrite consisting of a specified aromatic epoxy compd. and a hardener and exhibiting excellent adhesion at a high temperature, thermal aging resistance, heat cycle resistance, etc.

CONSTITUTION: The adhesive consists of (A) aromatic epoxy compd. containing at least three glycidyl groups in one molecule and having an epoxy equivalent of 75W200 and a softening point of below 100°C (e.g. epoxy resin obtained by introducing glycidyl group into m-aminophenol) and (B) hardener (e.g. dicyandiamide). It has excellent electric insulating and heat resisting properties such as strong adhesion at a high temperature, thermal aging resistance and heat cycle resistance, is readily applicable to small areas and is useful as binder for various types of ferrite and for ferrite-to-ferrite bonding and bonding of ferrite to metal.
